What is Tour de Food?
Tour de Food is one woman’s quest to compile a list of all of the places that have a food (or drink!) named after them (Cheddar, England; Champagne, France), and then to visit all of those places and eat their namesake foods while I’m there. But, I need your help in listing all of the foods named after places! They can be towns, cities, regions, states, countries, continents, etc! Anything goes.
Please suggest a food!
Want to suggest a food for the list? Almost anything goes. Places can be towns, cities, regions, states, countries, continents, etc., but I must be able to travel to that place. Foods can be anything: brand names are okay, drinks are great, cocktails and liqueurs especially welcome. But, please follow the Rules & Regulations as set out in the video at the bottom of this page.

Do you have a location to upload recipes or cook books, been surfing the NET for the last 18 months, collecting them for my brothers step son’s girlfriend. Since she is going to cooking school.
Then would you want them as single items or as cook books, have 4gigs of files/books. Have not checked for duplicate recipes.
All files are stored on my other computer on USB drive. So I have to start collecting them into a group of files.

Hi Kayla,
You may want to add to your list a sandwich called Bauru, also a city in Brazil.

Hi Kayla,
How about Cognac? Which, funnily enough, comes from Cognac in France. There is even a shop in the town centre which is dedicated to just one thing.
You guessed it, Cognac!
Enjoy!
